Reflecting on the genesis of his song, Oluwadamisi revealed, “I felt a strong impulse to rise and become the person God destined me to be, as stated in Isaiah 60:1-2. I was reminiscing on the divine promises concerning my life.

One day in 2017, while doing my laundry, my mind was filled with thoughts of God’s promises, interpretations of His words, messages conveyed through my dreams, and prophecies I’d received from religious leaders. I found myself questioning God, wondering when all these promised dreams, revelations, and goals would come to fruition.

At that moment, the phrase “Gbemisoke gbemidide” was imprinted on my heart by the Lord. The song didn’t materialize all at once, but I slowly started crafting it from that day onward. Initially, I didn’t take it seriously and even abandoned it for a while. However, my sister, well aware of my divine gift and calling, remained steadfast. As my cheerleader, she constantly supports and encourages me. Encouraged by her faith, I took the initial step and entrusted my journey entirely to God. From there on, I toiled daily to weave together the lyrics, and by God’s grace, ‘Gbemisoke’ came into existence.”

He added a verse from Romans 8:19 KJV, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
