Michael Whyte is a Nigerian-born singer-songwriter, music director, worship leader and a traditional contemporary urban Christian music minister. He is a graduate of the Performing Arts University of Ilorin, Kwara state. Nigeria.

Michael Whyte has ministered and worked with so many Churches as a music and worship director in Nigeria. He is a multiple award winner and an eclectic gospel music minister. He also has sung background vocals for many artists,help organized concerts for different artists and Christian organizations to mention but a few. His songs are a mix of African traditional praise, gospel hip hop and pop laced with a good tincture of vintage Whyte Afro-centric chimes.
