Music : GamZaki – TLV

The Living Vessel(TLV) is the name of the music unit of Fellowship of Christian Students, Federal University of Technology Minna Niger State.

Annually, a music concert is organized tagged KING’S COURT where original, self-composed spirit inspired songs are written and sung.

One of these songs among many others is GamZaki meaning The Morning Star in the Hausa Language; a traditional worship song which happens to be the choir’s first ever recorded single track released.

The song focuses on the efficacy of true worship and of thanksgiving to who Jesus is, what He’s done     and will continue to do in the lives of His people.

Verse 1:

Da ga birnin zuciyata (from the depth of my heart)

Zan yabe ka (I will worship you)

Kai ka bani rai ya mai tsarki (you’ve given me life oh great King)

Har abada (forever)

Babu wani kamar ka (there is no one like you)

A sama (in heaven) Da kasa (and on earth)

Shiyasa zan raira wanan waka (that’s why I will sing this song)

Da dukan karfi na (with all of my strength)

Isah Kalimatullahi (Jesus, the word of God)

Gam zaki (morning star)

Kai ne ubangiji na (you’re my God)

Verse 2:

Yesu kai ne kofar Aljannah (Jesus you’re the door-way to Heaven)

A garai ka zan raira (before you will I sing)

Wakar yabo, wakar yarda (song of praise, song of trust)

I na yi aminci da kai (yes I believe in you)

Na ba ka girma (I exalt you)

Na ba ka yabo (I give you praise)

Yesu, kai ne Ubangiji na (Jesus, you are my God)
