Interview: Meet Samuel Moses Bala (SamAp21)

• Tell us about yourself; who is SAM and what should we know about him (Name, location, childhood, education, where you are from, career/work, hobbies/passion/life in all, family, etc.)

I am Samuel Moses Bala, writer, Singer; love to seek deep into the realms of God.  I stay in Kafanchan, Kaduna South, and Kaduna State.  Being the firstborn, my childhood has been full of discipline in all aspects of life and a lover of inspiring sound. Graduated from the University of Jos, studied Computer Science.  Am Jju , from Kurmin Bi, zangon Kataf Local government, Kaduna South, Kaduna State. I am a CEO and Music Producer at Kabrister Music Global Production Enterprises to date and a qualified Teacher with the ECWA Seminary Staff School.

I love listening to music that inspires and prepares grounds for the soul, also love to sing the sounds, play the sounds and grow in it. Music has been my passion till my dying day.

I am married to my inner fire Kabele Paul Gulee and blessed with three (two girls and a Boy) Children, Sherista, Sheena and Shemuel.

• What’s your take on music?

To the one who feels burnt out, used, or unappreciated. To the one who feels insignificant or small? To the one who’s carrying the weight of ministry and feeling burdened and tired – here are a few words of encouragement: Your work matters.

Even if it feels like it’s all been said or done before, even when it’s hard, even when it goes largely unnoticed. Your voice could be the one that makes a difference in someone’s life.

There will be good days and hard days, and there may even be times when you question the decision to serve in ministry. On those days, remember why you started.

Remember your calling. Don’t give up or let yourself feel discouraged.

Purely Gospel Based Minister

I have dropped about two Albums and numerous Singles (38Songs), only have two Videos

• Do you write your own songs? If yes, how do you get inspired to write?

Yes, I write my songs, I write my songs when words inspire me, life experience, Situations and listening to other Gospel songs.

• Which of your songs really blessed your life personally and why/how?

Gwomraye (widows) sang in Hausa, a song I wrote that blessed my life, because of the injustice passed to the poor widows, orphans, widowers and the less privileged.

• Are your songs birthed from personal experience, people’s experience or others?

Yes, All of the above.

Tell us about your latest release.

Ordinance is the latest Album release I did in 2021 via Audiomack.

Holiness is the strength of the soul. It comes by faith and through obedience to God’s laws and ordinances. God then purifies the heart by faith, and the heart becomes purged from that which is profane and unworthy. When holiness is achieved by conforming to God’s will, one knows intuitively that which is wrong and that which is right before the Lord. Holiness speaks when there is silence, encouraging that which is good or reproving that which is wrong.
