Damils is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with high dexterity on the Keyboard, Organ, Flute, bass and acoustic guitars. He has worked with Dorcas Bentu, Daps, Obed Akaya, Aladin, Sha, EmGold etc.
And played live with Donnie Mcclurkin, Lenny Leblanc, The Kenoly Brothers, Panam Percy Paul, Kunle Ajayi, Margret Matata, El-ratam music and still counting.
Among Damils` productions are the classical/Jazz version of “Plateau The Beautiful” in collaboration with DAPS. “Good President” by Sha became #10 in the UK top 20. He also produced Radio Jingles and Skits for Tin City FM in Jos Plateau and Option FM in Akwanga Nasarawa state of Nigeria.
Immanuel by Godstime, No Better Lover by Jid-Vocals and Wordless Praise by Ben-Heavens were all produced by Damils.
Movies and Documentary soundtracks are areas he delves into with passion. Some of his Jazz pieces were featured in the movie “The Burning Wind.” The soundtrack of an Hiv/Aids awareness movie “Living In The Dark” is part of his repertoire. And also the soundtrack of the documentary “Peace and Conflict Resolution.”
Damils was born in Jos Plateau, Nigeria. He is the founder of The Graviton Empire International. He loves to travel, Explore nature, swim and read.
More than anything else, he loves to express his eclectic love for music by fusing different styles be it Highlife, R&B, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, Soul, Reggae and Fuji.
