Medlye, a multi-talented individual who works as a songwriter, fashion designer, life coach, certified public speaker, and promotional model, recently shared the inspiration behind her song titled “Knocking.” According to her, the song was born out of her deep contemplation of the growing mental health challenges plaguing the world, as people seem to have lost faith in seeking external help and instead prioritize self-preservation, which unfortunately leads to suicide.
In “Knocking,” Medlye aims to speak to the soul and remind listeners that pure love still exists and is the only answer to these challenges. As the President of Medlye Ministry, a youth movement with the goal of bridging the gap between childhood and adulthood and teaching young people about faith-based values and their application in daily life through education, media, art, and entertainment, she hopes that the song will serve as a beacon of hope.
