The birth of cikin Haikali was a special gift to me from God, Most especially from the creation of sound down to the songs therein. I got the sound in the mist of my rehearsals and fell in love with the piece immediately. I found entranced by the nylon strings of my guitar. The melodies that flowed from those strings were like whispers from the past, echoing the timeless hymns that once filled the air. My guitar’s vibrations seemed to transport me to those sacred moments, where faith and community entwined like the threads of a tapestry..
“CIKIN HAIKALI” was born from this nostalgia, a longing to reconnect with the harmony and unity of those bygone days. I wove together fragments of classic hymns, infusing them with modern rhythms and emotions. The song became a bridge spanning generations, inviting listeners to experience the comfort of collective worship.
“CIKIN HAIKALI” is more than a song, it’s an invitation to revisit our shared heritage, to rediscover the solace of communal praise.
As the song took shape, I envisioned a sea of faces lifted in unison, voices soaring on the wings of the melody. My guitar’s nylon strings vibrated with energy, channeling the spirits of my worship to God for a beautiful exchange.
