Lindii, hailing from Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria, is not just an extraordinary singer but also an emblem of resilience. Born as the fourth daughter in the Adams family, she has spent most of her life in the Northeastern regions of Nigeria, navigating its challenges and immersing herself in its culture.

From a young age, music served as Lindii’s sanctuary, becoming her voice to connect with the world. Her profound musical talents were recognized early on, even as she faced challenges such as being deemed too young for her church choir. Unfazed, she took her melodious voice to unexpected places, such as prisons, as a part of the Prison Ministry, singing messages of hope, love, peace, and forgiveness.

Despite facing the harshest adversities, including the loss of family and friends due to local insurgencies, Lindii remained undeterred. Instead of retreating, she amplified her voice. Her song ‘Salama‘, which translates to ‘Peace’, is a testament to her determination. Featured on her recent promo CD, the track serves as a beacon of hope for those affected by disturbances in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, and other parts of Northern Nigeria. Lindii aims to soothe troubled souls through’ Salama’, promising a brighter tomorrow.

Complementing this, she’s also penned ‘Make a Change’, urging individuals to take proactive steps in bettering society.

Lindii’s forthcoming album promises a tapestry of melodies showcasing Nigeria’s beauty and highlighting the strength of women. Beyond her musical pursuits, she is laying the groundwork for a Foundation. With collaborations from like-minded individuals, her foundation will focus on peace advocacy, ensuring the well-being of women and children affected by violence, and providing them with psychological and physical support.
